This policy explains what personal data Best PG Stays collects and why. It applies to our website and the owner and tenant portals.
What we collect
- Contact details you share in visit, demo or admission forms: name, mobile number, email.
- For tenants admitted through a PG: details the PG owner needs, such as ID proof, emergency contact and address.
- For PG owners: business details, listings and the records you add to the app.
- Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, to keep the site secure and improve it.
How we use it
To connect tenants with PG owners, to run the owner and tenant portals, to provide support and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
Who can see tenant documents
ID documents uploaded by a tenant are visible only to the owner of that PG and to our platform administrators for support and verification.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, and withdraw consent. Write to hello@bestpgstays.com.
Retention and security
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Passwords are stored hashed, and access to records is limited by role.
